Plenty of parking can be found on the east of the river - right before the bridge. This is a popular spot due to its short approach to the river. Working your way downstream (south) can be rewarding, especially where some of the tributaries merge into the East.  Beware you will be fighting willows/bushwacking. As of Labor Day weekend (2021), this segment was clear and boney.
